A wax coating on a car is a protective layer of wax that is applied to the exterior paint. This wax layer helps to protect the paint from environmental damage such as UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, and other contaminants. It also creates a smooth and glossy finish, enhancing the car's appearance.
A wax coating on a car generally lasts for about 1 to 3 months, depending on factors such as the quality of the wax, weather conditions, and how frequently the car is washed. It's a good idea to reapply wax every 2-3 months to maintain the protection and shine.
We start with a contactless exterior wash to remove the majority of the dirt and grime on the vehicle, this reduces the risk of scratching and marring the paint before moving onto a contact wash using the 2 bucket safe wash method.
we then perform a chemical decontamination removing any tar spots, bugs, and fallout before moving onto a mechanical decontamination using a clay bar to remove all of the embedded contaminants deep in the clear coat that the previous steps can't remove.
We move on to a machine polish to bring the paint back to a glossy finish, once the polishing has finished the vehicle is wiped down to remove any polishing residue before finally applying the wax.
